The judgement of the best, available to everyone.
We are building toward a world where the industries that keep society running operate with the judgement of their most experienced people — distributed across the whole organisation, at the moment a decision is made.
The world we want
Expertise stops being a bottleneck.
In every industrial company there is a small group of people who carry disproportionate judgement. They know which anomaly matters, which supplier will slip, which claim is worth contesting. When they retire or move on, that judgement leaves with them.
We think that is a solvable problem. Not by replacing those people, but by capturing how they reason and making it available to everyone else — the new hire, the night shift, the regional office that has never had a senior specialist on site.
The companies that get this right will not look dramatically different from the outside. They will simply be faster, more consistent, and less dependent on a handful of irreplaceable individuals. That is a durable advantage, and it compounds.
Three shifts we are working toward.
- 01
From scarce expertise to shared judgement
The best engineer, underwriter, or planner in a company is a bottleneck. Their judgement should be encoded, distributed, and available on the night shift in a different timezone.
- 02
From dashboards to decisions
Reporting tells people what happened. The next generation of systems participates in the decision — proposing, checking, and escalating with a clear audit trail.
- 03
From replacement to capacity
The goal is not fewer people. It is the same people, freed from the work that never needed them, doing more of the work that does.
Next: the commitments that decide how we behave.
